Balmer Commander takes off

Beginning January 28, 2004 Balmer Watches unveils their limited edition Commander. This watch has been designed around the original Unitas 6431 movement. Out of production for more than 35 years, a supply of 400 pieces of stock has been uncovered and is now being used to manufacture this watch.

This movement was originally intended for pilots in World War II. The Unitas 6431 is manual wind and will be housed in a 46mm stainless steel case with a genuine leather strap. Each watch has been hand assembled in Switzerland by skilled watchmakers and tested for more than 15 days.
